Misconceptions about personal sponsoring

I have heard recently people say things like "if i just sow enough seeds, i know that i will get a new leg sponsored". Now there is definitely some truth to the fact that you have to talk to a number of people before you find the one's who want to join your team. However, I think that some people think that personal sponsoring is some mystical, ethereal, uncontrollable happenstance. It is not.

Personal sponsoring is simply being the kind of person that others want to work with and offering your opportunity to them in a way that they understand it's potential at a time when they are ready to get in.

YOU control your personal sponsoring. Here are some things to self evaluate if you are not sponsoring at the rate you would like to be:
1. Is it YOU that they don't like? (bad breath, body odor, too aggressive, too intense, too pushy, lack of people skills, uncomfortable to be around, talk about inappropriate things, etc.) If so, there are some great books on the book list that can help. http://www.ltdteam.com
2. Are you talking to enough people to find the ones who are ready to get in? (most people think they are working really hard, but when they really get honest about how many people they talk with and how much time they invest in their business, they realize that they are more social with their business than businesslike.)
3. Are you accurately sharing what your business offers? I hear people say that they showed the business to a number of people and those people had little interest. I guess i might just being a little different, but i find it hard to believe that these people don't want to live like Joe Markiewicz and Larry Winters. http://www.extremefreedomteam.com My guess is that you didn't accurately explain what kind of lifestyle the business offers to those who build it to Diamond. How awesome was it that Amway Global sent Larry and Pam and this year's new diamonds to Peter Island and put them up in the new villas? http://amwayglobal.com, http://peterisland.com

So, become a person that other like to be with, show the plan enough to find the lookers, and show the opportunity in a way that people don't see this as simply another job, but a chance to develop lifestyle.
